THE PRESIDENT OF THE GOVERNMENT OPENS THE EXPO OF IDEAS

February 7 in Milan, at the Hangar Bicocca Pirelli, will open the work "Expo of Ideas" that
will lead to the definition of the Charter of Milan.

Will create 42 working groups with over 500 experts grouped into four themes: sustainable development between economy, environment and society; cultures, identities and eating habits; agronomy, nutrition, economics of food; Milan between smart and slow city.

The day was presented by the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Maurizio Martina by delegation to Expo Milano 2015.

The working day is organized by the Government with Expo and Rai.
Alongside the work tables attended by the Italian Prime Minister, Matteo Renzi; Ermanno
Olmi, Federica Mogherini, the Director-General of FAO Graziano da Silva. We will link the
former President of Brazil Lula who will speak on the action of the government and the
fight against hunger. And finally, the extraordinary contribution of Pope Francis, with a
video message on the right to food and the protection of the earth.
